Business Developer Germany

Ist Ihre Muttersprache Deutsch? Are you a true sales hunter? And do you know how to turn a ‘no’ into a ‘yes? This is your perfect opportunity to turn this vacancy into your job!

About the role

Our client is looking for a German native speaking Business Developer to acquire new distributors, dealers and wholesalers in Germany’s solar energy industry. You are responsible for generating the contacts and leads in their German market. You follow and analyse changes on the market to know what the next strategic topics/developments are for themn. You have a hunger for a next deal and don’t have ‘cold calling fear’.

Diary of our Business Developer…

My agenda for today is swamped with meetings with potential wholesalers and dealers in the Western part of North Rhine-Westphalia. I had a little cold-calling contest with my colleagues last week, and represented the company at a renewable energy fair the week before, and am reaping the benefits of this today. On my way to my first appointment, I have my daily start up call with my colleagues from sales: My chance to brag about how many meetings I have and, better yet, how many deals I expect to score today. I know how to encourage my potential clients to work with my companny; We are the only solar brand that delivers on your systems full potential by combining our own hardware and software to maximise the yield of your solar installation. The result: My company performs 5% better than any other system on the market today. That’s the power of a single-brand solar solution. At the end of the day, I have generated multiple leads, have been asked to prepare a quotation, and to write out an order. I’ll do that first thing tomorrow when I’m back in the Eindhoven office.

What do we ask of you?

We do not expect you to tick all of the boxes, but to be comfortable with some and eager to develop yourself in all aspects.

About us

Our client loves making an impact by accelerating the transition to solar energy. They do this by giving solar installers super powers by combining their high quality hardware (modules, inverters, etc.) with their innovative software. This allows them to work much more effectively and sell and install more solar installations than their competitors. With them installers can easily design, sell, install and maintain solar power systems.

They believe that work should be fun. A happy and fulfilled team is their number one priority. They are a hard working team, with an informal and “tell it how it is” culture. Their working environment is dynamic, with short communication lines and most of all fun. They are a close-knit team, where everyone works together with mutual respect. Thinking along and showing initiative is strongly encouraged in everybody, because they do it together! Working in a team is just as natural for them as generating solar energy.

Located in the vibrant Strijp-S area of Eindhoven, the Netherlands, they are on a mission to revolutionise the solar energy landscape. They are looking for talented individuals to join their team and be part of their transformative journey.
