Overview
Our client is dedicated to creating investable nature restoration opportunities by developing large-scale ecosystem restoration projects rooted in rewilding principles. These initiatives are financed through the sale of high-quality, high-integrity carbon and nature credits. With a robust pipeline of projects at varying stages—from initial feasibility assessments and land acquisition to credit development and multi-buyer contracting—their approach combines strategic planning with practical execution. They work closely with seasoned local partners who bring deep expertise in delivering on-the-ground restoration efforts.
Our client is looking for a skilled and passionate Data Engineer to support the scientific foundation of our carbon and biodiversity credit projects. This role will focus on two key areas: (1) the scientific assessment and analysis of carbon standards and methodologies, and (2) the development, operation, and management of carbon models for forest and peatland restoration and conservation initiatives.
The Data Engineer will also lead the development and implementation of biodiversity indicators, monitoring protocols, and field monitoring campaigns across our client’s carbon project portfolio.
