Your Mission
- Lead internal and external stakeholders to define Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) requirements
- Develop the technology roadmap for next-generation Solar PV & BESS architectures and converter designs
- Drive R&D of innovative Solar PV architectures and converter topologies, covering residential to utility-scale applications
- Propose cutting-edge solutions for DC/DC & DC/AC power conversion in PV & BESS
- Oversee design, verification, and validation of converter concepts in R&D labs
- Collaborate with external R&D institutes and universities to develop novel converter and control algorithms
- Generate patentable ideas and secure them through IPR filings
- Mentor cross-disciplinary R&D teams
Your Areas of Expertise
- PhD or Master’s degree in Power Electronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field
- Extensive high-power electronics and system-level industry experience
- Deep expertise in converter topologies, modulation, control, and algorithm development, with a focus on system & hardware design
- Strong theoretical grasp of power electronics principles, multi-level converters, magnetic design, wide-bandgap semiconductors, and modulation/control techniques
- Solar PV product development experience (preferred but not mandatory)
- Proven track record in technology innovation, leadership, and R&D initiatives
- Independent, results-driven mindset with a “can-do” attitude and creative problem-solving skills
- Willingness for occasional travel (projects, conferences, seminars)
- Fluent English (written & spoken); additional languages are a plus
