A leading company in the telecommunication industry with over 200,000 employees worldwide, operating in more than 170 countries and regions, is seeking a Tax Manager.
The Country Tax Manager will be responsible for managing all tax-related matters at the country level, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations. The role will align with the company’s tax policies, process requirements, and work instructions to maintain strict adherence to tax compliance standards.

Responsibilities
- Supporting/handling the responsible countries’ tax affairs
- Draft all relevant calculations and tax filings (VAT, CIT, WHT, etc.) and ensure that all the tax obligations are met
- Managing the cooperation with the company’s external tax advisors
- Assuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and other requirements which involve updating and optimizing internal procedures and manuals
- Maintain the Transfer Pricing framework, including supporting with all documentation requirements based on local legislation as well as OECD guidelines, such as Local files etc.
- Supporting tax audits when they may arise and manage tax risks.
- Preparing tax calculations for financial reporting purposes
- Contract review (tax clauses) and solution advise for the business team
- Supporting regional tax team to enhance the workflow and operation mechanism
- The tasks and duties of this role may evolve over time
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as tax advisor or in-house tax professional.
- Degree in Tax Law, Tax Economics.
- Solid knowledge in VAT, CIT and transfer pricing. Belgium tax experience is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

- High flexibility and being able to manage multiple tasks, being target oriented and able to work under pressure
