On behalf of our client, a reputable energy services provider, we are currenlty hiring the Head of Compliance Carbon Trading Services. This role is intended to lead the service offering for existing and new clients participating in the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS). This role focuses on providing strategic trading solutions and compliance support for installations regulated under the EU ETS, helping clients optimize their carbon allowance positions, mitigate risks, and meet regulatory obligations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in EU ETS markets, with a strong understanding of trading, risk management, and client relationship management.
Key qualifications
- This role will suit someone with at least 5 years of experience with EU ETS.
- Proven track record in providing trading services and compliance support for clients within the EU ETS framework.
- Strong understanding of EUA market dynamics, carbon compliance regulations, and risk management strategies.
- Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate complex market insights clearly and effectively.
- Experience in executing trades on behalf of clients and managing EUA portfolios.
- Knowledge of carbon market platforms, exchanges, and trading tools.
- Customer-centric approach with excellent interpersonal skills, known for being a strong team player.
