Job Description

IT System Administrator should be skilled and proactive to manage and support our IT infrastructure across our European operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our IT systems, including the implementation and maintenance of a cloud-based ERP system, managing IT equipment, and providing training to staff. The IT System Administrator will play a key role in our multi-national communication strategy and support our growth by optimizing our technological capabilities.

Your mission

  • Oversee the selection, procurement, installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and workstations across all locations, and ensure the security and integrity of the company’s IT infrastructure through the implementation of appropriate security measures.
  • Lead the implementation of a cloud-based ERP system, including configuration, customization, and integration with existing systems. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the ERP system to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate IT activities and facilitate effective communication and collaboration among IT staff and other departments across different locations.
  • Provide technical support to employees, resolving IT-related issues promptly and efficiently. Develop and conduct training programs for staff on the use of the ERP system and other IT tools.
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. Keep an inventory of IT assets and ensure timely upgrades and replacements. Ensure regular backups and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international IT regulations and standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT system administration, preferably in a multi-national company.
  • Proven experience with cloud-based ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, server management, and IT security practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train and support non-technical staff.
  • Ability to travel as needed across the company’s locations.
  • Fluency in English. German, French or Dutch is a plus.
