Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Office Administrator to join our team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

  • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient working environment.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for important documents and records.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Collect and process reimbursement documents from employees.
  • Manage company cars and shared cars, including scheduling maintenance and ensuring proper usage.
  • Support the organization of company events and meetings, including logistics and catering.
  • Assist in project management tasks as assigned, including scheduling meetings, preparing project documentation, and tracking milestones.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees.
  • Maintain employee records and update HR databases.
  • Coordinate training sessions and HR-related events.
  • Address employee queries regarding payroll, benefits, and company policies.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Your Profile

  • Dutch native speaker is a must.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred. However, candidates with relevant experience and skills will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in office administration; experience in accounting or HR is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the flexibility to manage various tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with accounting software or HR systems is an advantage.
