Research Center is responsible for Network Energy Advanced Technology Research, Architecture Evolution Design, and Strategic Technology Planning.
The Power Conversion Technology Laboratory within the Research Center focuses on Advanced Digital Power Technology Research, Architecture Evolution Design, and Strategic Technology Planning. It plays a key role in our client’s Digital Power business, driving the design and development of power converters and control systems for applications such as PV Solar & Battery Energy Storage, Data Centers, Electric Vehicles, and Embedded Power Supplies.

Responsibilities
- Support in developing the technology roadmap for next-generation EV chargers
- Provide insights into EV charging technology and industry trends
- Lead and execute R&D for innovative EV charging solutions
- Design, verify, and validate converter concepts in R&D laboratories
- Collaborate with external R&D institutes and universities to develop novel converter and control algorithms for power electronics
- Generate innovative ideas and protect them through IPR filings
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s degree in Power Electronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field
- Strong experience in R&D within the EV charging industry
- Expertise in power electronic converter topologies, modulation, control, and algorithm development (preferably in EV charging or similar applications)
- Solid theoretical knowledge of power electronics principles, magnetic component design, and power semiconductor devices (e.g., wide bandgap devices)
- Proven track record in new technology development, innovation, and publications
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with a “can-do” attitude
- Willingness to think outside the box and learn new technologies
- Fluent in English (written & spoken); readiness for occasional business travel
