Our client is looking for an experienced full-time photovoltaic project developer to independently acquire areas in the north-eastern German region (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Brandenburg), manage projects and thus continue to drive their growth.
With the support and management of the central team in Hamburg, you will actively drive the energy transition and work together to realize their vision.
Your tasks
- Identification and acquisition of suitable open space locations for photovoltaic systems in the north-eastern German region (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Brandenburg)
- Negotiation of purchase and lease agreements with property owners and municipalities, including project presentations at municipal council meetings and other committees
- Obtaining approvals and monitoring projects until they are ready for construction
- Initiation and coordination of building planning procedures (land use plan changes, B-Plan preparation)
- Processing and preparation of all approval documents and other project documents
- Selection, commissioning and coordination of service providers
- Communication management with municipalities, authorities and other project stakeholders
- Office location freely selectable in the north-eastern German region
Your profile
- Successfully completed degree in engineering, renewable energies, geography, law, spatial planning or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in project development for renewable energies
- Confident handling of common office programs and experience in remote collaboration using tools such as MS Teams, SharePoint etc.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as the ability to work independently
- Want to work in a dynamic team in the field of renewable energies
- Fluent German language skills
- Willingness to travel and a Class B driving license
- Residence in the target area (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania or Brandenburg)
