With a team of skilled researchers, scientists, and engineers, the company provides design, testing, and evaluation services, particularly emphasizing risk management and quality assurance. They have supported 7.5 GW of PV power plants worldwide and conducted over 245 audits on more than 115 manufacturers, who together produce over 67 GW of PV equipment annually.

The company operates an IEC 17025 accredited test laboratory in Berlin, which evaluates the performance, reliability, and durability of solar modules. They also have a second laboratory in Suzhou, China, where modules are tested according to stringent criteria that meet or exceed IEC standards. Since 2019, they have maintained a permanent subsidiary in Spain and joined a larger group specializing in solar technologies in May 2022.

What are you going to do?

  • Project management of customer projects primarily (but not limited to) focusing
  • on battery storage integrated in PV plants. Tasks including scheduling, logistics,
  • team leading, customer communication and consulting, reporting and billing.
  • Perform and manage multiple work packages that may include preliminary designs,
  • power plant inspections, performance analysis, and factory inspection services.
  • Carry out analysis, inspections, simulations, testing, designs and simulations as
  • required in the work packages.
  • Manage the project resources from the technical services team as required for
  • your projects in the office and on-site.
  • Prepare, review, and release final reports verifying that the customer objectives
  • have been met.
  • Communicate with customers to consult and discuss the project details,
  • deliverables, strategy and follow-up activities.
  • Assist the sales team from time to time to develop service offerings in proposals
  • focused on battery storage equipment and system design for customers.
  • Carry out internal training sessions about battery storage systems for the technical
  • services teams in various regions.

Qualifications

  • Degree in electrical engineering
  • Broad knowledge and detailed expertise of battery energy storage, including
  • system design, sizing, equipment selection and manufacturing processes
  • Minimum three years of experience in battery storage projects
  • Experience designing battery storage systems integrated in PV plants using
  • software packages such as Homer
  • Experience with project management
  • Ability to manage complex and diverse technical tasks
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel and work internationally from time to time.
