Our client is a company that believes in European reindustrialization, created after 15 years of R&D with top European research entities to develop a breakthrough technology.
They have built a membrane factory that is unique in the world, where they manufacture their units that provide solutions for the hydrogen transport problem. For their development they rely on the local industrial ecosystem and top-level international investors.
They have developed a technology of membrane reactors for the separation and production of hydrogen in situ from different feedstocks, such as ammonia, methanol, formic acid, syngas from waste.
The opportunity
As a Project Manager, you’ll get to:
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the development, buy in, and approval of Project scope, governance, workplans and supporting project documentation.
- Be responsible for ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and internal regulations, processes and governance.
- Build and manage the project teams required to deliver on outputs, ensuring input from key areas across the business including System Planning, Project Development, Engineering, Stakeholder & Operations.
- Be responsible for ensuring the team meets key project milestones on time and on budget, identifying barriers to the successful delivery of the projects and develop strategies with the research team to overcome them.
- Build and maintain productive and enduring relationships with key stakeholders to promote and gain buy in for deliverables.
- Conduct regular technical meetings with key customers and ensure the progress on critical technical issues blocking project major milestones.
- Provide “hands on” support developing and implementing tools to facilitate fast delivery of initiatives.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Engineering Degree (Chemical Engineering / Industrial Engineering or similar degree)
- +7 years-experience on the wider energy industry and policy would be advantageous.
- Proven track record of leading and safely delivering complex business projects across multi-functional teams in the energy segment.
- Knowledge of Lean practices with a passion for improving ways of working.
- Great analytical and decision-making skills.
- An ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English and Spanish (oral and written).
- You’re a doer, a team player and you’re comfortable working in a constantly changing start-up environment.
- A formal Project Management qualification is desirable.
