Role overview

As a PV Solution Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific product category within our Smart PV portfolio. This role involves analyzing market trends, managing the go-to-market process for new products, and providing support to internal teams, partners, and customers. You will work to increase market share by building new business opportunities, expanding partnerships, and exploring new markets.

Key responsibilities

  • Market Analysis & Product Strategy: Understand market requirements, customer needs, and relevant standards to develop optimized solutions for the Smart PV category.
  • Collaboration with Global Teams: Align local market needs with the global product line to integrate requirements effectively.
  • Product Launches: Manage the go-to-market process for 2–4 new products annually, including communication strategies and execution plans.
  • Documentation & Localization: Create localized technical documents, including data sheets, to provide key information to partners and customers.
  • Training & Support: Provide training for internal teams, distribution partners, and key customers to ensure smooth product implementation.
  • Project Support: Assist in large-scale bids by preparing bills of materials, quotations, and project documentation.
  • Industry Engagement: Build connections with universities, industry partners, and associations to contribute to the development of relevant standards and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a technical sales role within the renewable energy industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of power electronics, including inverters and energy storage systems.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English, German, and French.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
