Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a commercial, maritime, or technical discipline. 
  • Over 5 years of demonstrable experience in B2B sales and account management within the maritime or electrotechnical sector, on a global scale. 
  • Proven expertise in electrification, preferably with a focus on energy storage systems. 
  • Established track record of delivering successful sales outcomes. 
  • Extensive network within the maritime industry. 
  • Proven capability in independently developing new markets. 
  • Keen interest in energy transition and sustainability within the shipping sector. 
  • Strong affinity with technology. 
  • Proactive demeanour, entrepreneurial drive, ambition, and tenacity in customer engagement and target attainment. 
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Fluent in English and preferably Dutch. 
  • Willingness to undertake international travel for business purposes. 

What will you do?  

  • Lead cold acquisition efforts targeting new clients, encompassing shipyards, ship owners, and system integrators. 
  • Establish and nurture enduring relationships with strategic key accounts. 
  • Effectively manage and enhance existing client relationships, addressing their ongoing needs and requests. 
  • Actively participate in sales initiatives, including internal meetings, customer events, and webinars. 
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities, securing RFI’s, RFQ’s, and orders, thereby contributing to business expansion. 
  • Expertise in driving new product development initiatives. 
  • Prepare meticulous quotations, calculations, and assignments. 
  • Collaborate closely with fellow Sales and Account Managers. 
  • Maintain comprehensive customer records within the CRM system. 
  • Support project execution.
