Sales Executive
As part of its strong European growth, Our client is recruiting a Sales Executive with focus for its French subsidiary and their gas & power scheduling & trading software & 24/7 ops services.
They are a service provider for European power and gas market players (producers, suppliers, traders). They also build and offer a software platform (SaaS) for market operations automation, automated trading and offer a 24/7 operational dispatching service allowing their clients to delegate all or part of their market activities to us.
Your Mission
Reporting to the Head of Sales Europe, you will be allocated to the team in Paris working in the office or from your home office. It is expected, especially during the onboarding phase (3 to 6 months) that you will be regularly in Paris to meet the team and learn collaborating with them as well as a deep knowledge of the products (SaaS) and services offered.
Duties include:
- Being responsible for the commercial dealings (offers, tenders and contracts) in the sales process and handling the relationship with the prospec
- Have a good knowledge of the products & services offered by the company
- Keep track of the sales pipeline in the CRM (HubSpot)
- Collaborate closely with Pre Sales for the technical part of our offering and with our lead generation provider with following up and handling the sales pipeline
- Identify market opportunities and participate in external event e. g. conferences, trade shows, etc.
- Follow market developments and help the team with this knowledge to take decisions about further product developments
- Work closely with the Account Managers and Sales Executives for cross-selling opportunities
Your Profile
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, ideally SaaS within the energy space (Scheduling & Algo Trading)
- Technology enthusiast with bachelor or master’s degree in any discipline or equivalent experiences
- Ability to present the company’s products with support from the Pre Sales
- Familiar with MS-Office, CRM (Hubspot) and other software used in the industry (e. g. Atlassian)
- Very good communication skills in English (any other language skills especially French are a plus)
