Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Program Manager to oversee and manage the sales processes of channel sales operations across Germany, France, the Netherlands, and other European countries. The focus will be on distributors and installers of solar residential inverters and energy storage systems. This role involves analyzing performance data from the cloud ERP, managing pricing structures, and ensuring seamless coordination of sales operations to drive revenue growth. Key qualities for this role include systematic thinking, excellent communication skills, determination to drive project operations, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Process Management
    • Monitor and track the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract signing and project delivery.
    • Support the sales manager and product managers in executing sales plans and initiatives.
  • Coordination and Support
    • Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, technical support, and logistics, to support channel partners and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Leverage systematic thinking to streamline operations and ensure consistency.
  • Pricing Management
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive pricing system, including recommended retail prices and discount levels for distributors and installers.
    • Monitor market conditions and competitor pricing, and regularly update the recommended price list, for example, quarterly or upon any market changes or pricing strategy adjustments.
  • Performance Analysis
    • Analyze and evaluate the performance of distributors and installers using data from the cloud ERP system or sales statistics reports.
    • Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance sales performance and drive revenue growth.
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
    • Organize regular meetings and workshops with internal teams and channel partners to share updates and best practices.

Candidate Profile

  • Education and Certification
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
    • PMP, PMO, or other project management certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in channel sales management, preferably in the solar industry or related field.
    • Good knowledge of solar inverters, residential PV systems, and energy storage systems.
    • Strong project management skills and experience with project management tools and methodologies.
    • Ability to approach complex tasks methodically and develop structured solutions.
    • Skilled in identifying issues and developing effective solutions promptly.
  • Personal Attributes
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
    • Experience working in Germany, France, the Netherlands, and other European markets.
    • Willingness to travel within the assigned regions as required.
    • Proficiency in English; additional language skills in German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, or Chinese are a plus.
