About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and innovative Senior Electrical Expert to join their team and lead advancements in low voltage power distribution systems, with a strong focus on digital power technologies. You will play a key role in shaping the future of electrical protection and control devices, working alongside cross-functional teams across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global engineering and product teams to define system requirements for low voltage power distribution applications.
- Drive the creation of technical roadmaps for next-generation digital power solutions.
- Lead the design, development, and validation of innovative low voltage circuit breakers and switchgear systems.
- Apply deep domain expertise to improve performance in areas such as actuators, arc chambers, contact systems, PCB design, and modulation technologies.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to develop technical capabilities and solve complex engineering challenges.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong theoretical foundation in low voltage protection principles.
- In-depth knowledge of ACBs, MCCBs, MCBs, and low voltage switchgear systems.
- Proven success in product development and industrial deployment of electrical apparatus.
- Practical experience in prototyping and validating low voltage circuit breakers and switchgear components.
- Skilled in simulation, design, and verification techniques.
- Self-driven and proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus, or a willingness to learn.
- Open to occasional international travel as required.
