Headquartered in Miami, Florida, they are a global fuel logistics, transaction management and payment processing company, principally engaged in the distribution of fuel and related products and services in the aviation, marine and land commercial, industrial and transportation industries. They sell fuel and delivers services to its clients at more than 8,000 locations in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.

Tasks and responsibilities

▪Actively identifying and prospecting new potential clients
▪The full management of assigned accounts by building and maintaining strong relationships with all clients through regular dialogue and review meetings
▪Manage the retention and renewal of service and supply contracts
▪Build new and diversified revenue streams through qualified sales opportunities and cross-selling other services and products
▪Manage the negotiation of complex energy supply contracts
▪Maintain an oversight of service delivery teams to ensure service levels meet contractual obligations and address service delivery issues in conjunction with the operational teams where appropriate
▪Conduct structured negotiation based on a structured tender format
▪Periodic status updates with clients reviewing the local and global market, the status of their supply contracts and horizon
▪Continuous pro-active contact with customers on issues relating to the customer’s energy business
▪Administration of contract documents and maintaining records, systems and CRM with relevant customer information
▪Internal and external reporting

Background and skills

▪Preferably a graduate with a minimum of 2 years relevant commercial experience
▪Self-confident, independent way of working and having the ability to handle high workloads
▪Experience of customer facing roles or sales is essential
▪Experience in the Dutch or European energy markets either within a consultant/TPI or supply company is desirable. Alternatively, a background from finance, consulting services or similar may also be of interest.
▪Strong oral and written communication skills in Dutch is essential, and in English preferential
▪Excellent presentation skills and be able to explain complex things in an easy-to-understand way
▪Great interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of the business hierarchy
▪Ability to be a team player
▪Willingness to travel
▪Hard worker who can have fun
▪Experienced ICT user, most notably Excel
