Project Developer

Using the latest technologies, our client modernizes and repowers existing renewable energy systems to increase electricity production and use state-of-the-art solutions in the areas of battery storage and hydrogen production to close the gap between supply and demand and balance out power fluctuations.

They are looking for you to join their project development team.

Your tasks

Support the team in all areas of project development in order to continuously advance their project portfolio of wind and photovoltaic projects
Independent management of a project portfolio throughout the entire development phase – from white space analysis and land acquisition to construction readiness, taking into account legal, technical, planning and economic aspects
You will get to know the planning, approval and implementation processes and will support you in coordinating these as well as maintaining contact with land owners, municipalities, authorities and public institutions
Research into country-specific potential and framework conditions for the renewable energy sector
Supporting the internal project managers in all aspects of project development, in particular (i) supporting and coordinating planning, approval and implementation processes as well as (ii) maintaining contact with land owners, municipalities, authorities and public institutions
Independent assessment of new project requests
Creation of internal project presentations and progress reports
The ideal place of work is Hamburg or Berlin, but any other location nationwide is also possible as part of the home office

Your profile

You have successfully completed university education in the field of engineering, urban and regional planning, environmental or landscape planning, geology, geoecology or a comparable field of study
You are fluent in the German language
You have initial professional experience, ideally in the field of renewable energies
Knowledge of common project management methods desirable
Confident use of MS Office
Strong planning and organizational skills as well as negotiation skills
Class B driving license and the associated willingness to travel
