Our client has been successfully developing and implementing renewable energy projects since 1996. They currently realise installations with a total annual investment of 500 million euros. More than 900 employees worldwide work with enthusiasm on site acquisition, planning, engineering, financing and the construction of wind and solar energy plants as well as on battery storage projects for a sustainable energy supply, and they provide operational management and maintenance.

Their PPA department is a dynamic, creative and innovative team. They want to redesign the electricity marketing of renewable energies towards a world of PPAs and direct deliveries to industrial companies. They need you to promote the energy transition in a targeted manner with end consumers

Who are you?

Be the internal centre of expertise for energy and electricity market in Hungary
Identify corporates in Hungary, who have implemented or are about to define a renewable procurement or ESG strategy and could be possible power off-takers for our client’s projects in both countries
Build-up, maintain and develop business relationships with such corporates
Identify, facility and execute power purchase agreements (as well as all necessary accompanying contracts) with corporate off-takers to enable financing of the underlying renewable project(s)
Track and derive impact on the company of relevant regulatory changes on corporate consumption and supply matters as well as of all market design topics
Build-up and develop relationships to external partners (aggregators, trading houses, consultants) offering services/ support on the marketing of renewables power
Collaborate with local finance and development team to be up to date to the status of the project pipeline in each country and align on electricity (+ all other revenue streams) sales strategy

Your qualifications

Relevant work experience in Hungary
Existing network of corporate contacts in Hungary
Track-record of successfully closed contracts (power supply, standard power, GOs, PPAs)
Fluent in Hungarian and English in spoken and written
Passionate about renewable energies and storage
