Sales Relationship Manager, Sustainability & Energy Management

This business unit is a leading global energy management company specializing in providing best in class advisory, brokerage, procurement, agency, Supply & Trading, sustainability & environmental and carbon compliance services to its clients worldwide.
Position
The Sales Relationship Manager, Sustainability & Energy Management will be responsible for selling a wide range of energy and sustainability services to corporations throughout Japan. Reporting to the Director, Sales & Business Development.
Position Objectives
To achieve annual sales target, develop new business development opportunities
Key Responsibilities
Identify potential prospects and build the relationship, and proactively sell Energy Services’ products & services in Japan.
Continuously prospect and develop new business opportunities in line with sales & marketing plans.
Conduct regular review to track sales and business development progress, weekly activity report & opportunity input through CRM.
Primary or support role in prospective client’s request for proposal responses, including global sales/RFP effort.
Collaborate and/or support sales to retain or upsell services to existing clients as needed by the account management team.
Support and involved in product & service development activities, trends and competitor analysis, cost to serve analysis, training & promotional activities Identify, engage, and integrate (potential) partners/sub-contractors in Japan to expand the market share and capabilities.
Background and skills
Candidates with minimum of 3 years sales experience, preferably in the energy industry.
Active attitude, excellent communication skill, confident.
Ability to conduct business level meetings and influence at high levels in the organization.
Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage directly with target company senior management.
Professional presence and absolute integrity.
The ability to work autonomously with a high level of self-discipline is essential.
Due to COVID-19 the capability to work from home effectively and efficiently, with the intent to transition to an office environment.
Communications skills, both written and verbal in Japanese and English.
