Senior Pre Sales Manager

We are facilitating the green energy revolution by providing innovative trading software solutions, trading operations, commercial advisory and risk transfer broking services to the global energy industry.

This company is a global leader in energy trading software products and operational services, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Executive to join our team in Paris.

As part of its strong European growth, the Australian group is recruiting a Sales Executive with focus for its French subsidiary and their gas & power scheduling & trading software & 24/7 ops services.

They are a service provider for European power and gas market players (producers, suppliers, traders). We build and offer a software platform (SaaS) for market operations automation, automated trading and offer a 24/7 operational dispatching service allowing our clients to delegate all or part of their market activities to us.

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Pre-Sales Engineer to grow their team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the SaaS domain, with a strong technical background and expertise in digital platforms. This individual will play a crucial role in driving pre-sales activities, providing technical expertise, and supporting the sales team in positioning and demonstrating their solutions to prospective clients. Experience within the energy market is a plus.

Responsibilities

▪Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and business objectives
▪Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and capabilities of our SaaS solutions
▪Develop and deliver compelling technical proposals, and product proofs of concept
▪Serve as a subject matter expert on the Platform, providing insights and guidance to customers and internal teams
▪Engage with customers to gather feedback and insights, and communicate requirements to the product development team
▪Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the SaaS domain.

Qualifications

▪Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
▪5-10 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering or technical consulting role, preferably in the SaaS industry
▪Strong technical skills, with hands-on experience in digital platforms
▪Proven track record of delivering successful pre-sales engagements, including product demonstrations, technical proposals, and solution designs
▪Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
▪Strong and demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
▪Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
