Senior Sales of Green Certificates

After more than 10 years in the market our client has become a top player in the French energy efficiency certificates market from origination to trading. The energy business unit has grown from 10 to more than 150 people (Consulting, Sales and Trading teams) in the last 5 years and now reached 150M€ turnover. They would like now to replicate similar activities (Consultancy, Pre financing solutions, trading) in other markets and other countries where they are already active on the innovation side. They already started a small GO activity and the CO2 activity started back 1 year ago. They would like now to build a full renewable offer.

Take part in the development of our client’s innovations, their operational efficiency and the acceleration of their environmental and energy transition – from energy savings to eco-design or carbon offsetting.

In relation to the client’s General Management, you are in charge of carrying out transactions and actively participating in the development of Market activity with clients in the public and private sectors. You mainly focus on renewable energy markets (GO Guarantees of Origin, Green Gas Certificates)

Your responsibilities

▪Prospecting and monitoring the portfolio of customers selling and buying certificates (producers of renewable energy, industrials, communities, SMEs, etc.)
▪Negotiation of purchase prices with decision makers (CEO, CFO, Energy managers, Buyers)
▪Coordinating the Sales teams
▪Create financial reports for top management
Monitoring of competitive intelligence on environmental markets
▪Carrying out market studies on new environmental markets and more particularly on markets related to renewable energy

Your profile

▪You come from a Bachelor+ higher education, ideally from a business school or university, specializing in finance/energy
▪A successful experience in the commercial field (prospecting, negotiation, customer relationship)
▪Experience in the field of renewable energies (Guarantees of Origin GO, Green gas Certificates) – minimum 5 years
▪You have interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and a good understanding of economic issues
▪A personality: curiosity, dynamism, a taste for challenge and a real ability to question oneself in order to learn
